The F I F T H season of MUSIC in the PARKwas held in the summer of 2005. Pop, rock, blues and top 40 music was featured on 4 consecutive Tuesday nights in the Shallowford Square with some of the best artist in the area participating. MUSIC in the PARK has also partnered with SONICbids, an on-line service through which artists, promoters and venues can submit and review electronic press kits. MUSIC in the PARK received 83 EPK's from all over the USA and Canada and selected 5 sonic bids artists to play the park!
MUSIC in the PARK is FREE and open to the public. Concessions will be available on most nights. No grills or coolers are allowed. Ginger Creek Vineyards will participated on all four evenings, with wine by the glass. TICKETS to the LAWN PARTY 2005 @ Tanglewood Park were sold at all Music in the Park dates.

JULY 26, 2005 - Joshua Schramm, singer/songwriter from California and pop/rock duo, The Foyer from Greensboro. Special guests, The 3 Graces Dance Troupe. Also with wine and food by Ginger Creek Vineyards, Lowes Foods, Edie's Gourmet and Cheerwine. There will be special personal appearances by SEMDRA motorcycling racer, Angie McBride and motorcycle designger and crew chief, Landon Ingram.

Tuesday, AUGUST 2, 2005 Acoustic pop/rock trio, AURA3. Featuring artist, Norman Sturdy. Also with wine and food by Ginger Creek Vineyards, Lowes Foods, Edie's Gourmet and Cheerwine.

Tuesday, AUGUST 9, 2005 - Music: bassist, Lee Hill, singer/songwriter, Dann Russo from Boston - Also with food and wine by Ginger Creek Vineyards, Lowes Foods (Italian Ices!) Edie's Gourmet and Cheerwine.

Tuesday, AUGUST 16, 2005 - Music: Singer/Songwriter Mark Aaron James from NYC, singer/songwriter Mike Garrigan from Greensboro will trade off songs a la The Bluebird Cafe. North Carolina band, Lab Ratz will close out the series for 2005 - With wine and food by Ginger Creek Vineyards, Lowes Foods, Edie's Gourmet and Cheerwine.

August 20 The BLUEGRASS SPECIAL - Shallowford Square - 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM - featuring the music of DIXIE Broadway - Plank Road Bluegrass - Also enjoy food and beverages, exhibits and demonstrations, flat footing, Moon Pies, RC Cola and a return engagement of Yee Haw by The LAAC players. Presented by the LAAC in cooperation with Lewisville Parks and Recreation Department.
